The ‘NPO Community of Culture with and for Children’ is an organization dedicated to encouraging the overall growth of children. We promote projects and workshops such as ‘Come on in! Picture Book Museum’ with familiar picture book themes so children can learn while having fun. At the museum, various organizations and researchers work in cooperation to go beyond the boundaries of culture and natural sciences to help children develop their physical and intellectual abilities. Our presentation posters will introduce some of our projects including a venture where children in Marine World Umino-nakamichi (the venue of this event) and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum used the Internet to communicate with each other and studied the cycles of life in the sea and rivers, and then learned how to program to create animation of their findings.
